Andrew McCabe, Ex-Interim Head of the FBI, and Trump tantrum casualty, gave a pretty explosive interview to 60 Minutes that illuminates a lot of what was going on at the time during the initial days after the firing of James Comey, including his order to open investigations in Trump for obstructing justice, fearing that if he was next on the chopping block, he would want their to be wheels in motion that Trump couldn’t immediately interfere with.  In light of the things McCabe revealed, Trump and his sycophants went on the warpath, aiming to discredit McCabe.  Trump’s own tirade was hardly surprising, but watching people like Lindsey Graham slander the man was disgusting. He suggested that the interview served only to highlight McCabe’s own biases.   Make no mistake, you sound like a fool for suggesting that a person has a bias against someone trying them in the back.

I don’t have a high opinion of Lindsey Graham.  Every time I’ve ever seen him talk, it’s always him trying to sanitize a horrible opinion/gross political motivation or he’s gaslighting his political opponents.  In my humble opinion, he is, and always has been a man with a stunning lack of integrity or empathy.  He looks, acts, and sounds like a Looney Tunes villain.  The one time he appeared to sound like he had any kind of concern for anyone other than himself, was when he was defending Jeff Sessions in the early days of the Russia Investigation.  He used forceful language to defend a man that he presumably considered a friend.  The exact words were that Trump would have “Hell to pay” if he canned Sessions.  Not that I think anyone took that bloviating very seriously.  And it appears that they were right not to.  Because low and behold, Trump forced Sessions out, and when confronted with a video clip of his own words, Graham literally laughed it off. Let me tell you, it says a lot about your credibility when you scoff at the validity of your own threat.  Lindsey Graham is a joke.

Let’s be honest.  This whole Native American ancestry thing with Elizabeth Warren has gotten out of hand.  I mean, it was out of hand the second Trump started calling Warren “Pocahontas”, as it was just insensitive and inappropriate.  It got worse when he demanded she take a DNA test, but I’m honestly, Warren didn’t do herself or anyone else any favors by acquiescing.  I know the idea was for her to shove the whole thing back in Trump’s face, but it was never going to work out that way.  Trump would always lie about things he’s said, how he said them, and he would always move the line.  And the end result is that no one looks good and the Native American communities end up feeling mocked.  Now Lindsey Graham is talking about getting his own test to prove he’s more Native than Warren and it’s just…where does this stop?  The only thing that Graham’s test is going to prove is that he’s an ass, and frankly I think most of us already knew that.
