Trump has successfully bullied another person out their position. Andrew McCabe can’t handle the craziness anymore, and I don’t know that anyone can blame him. But it’s really becoming scarier to realize that people who are brave enough to not have any honest allegiances to Trump are becoming de-legitimized, disenfranchised or forced out. Trump supporters keep saying how over the top liberals concerned with Trump’s draconian dictatorial methods are being, but is it only going to be ok to say I told you so when he’s finally named himself emperor of the US? Will it be ok even then?

Multiple outlets are reporting that Tourism is hitting a slump in the wake of Trump and his rhetoric. In the last year, we’ve lost about $4.6 billion in tourism revenue and lost about 40,000 jobs in that sector as a result of the slump, and experts aren’t calling it a coincidence. Trump’s erratic and destructive behavior is turning a lot of people off. He spent the last 2 years talking about making America great again, and now after a year in office, he doesn’t understand why people from Norway aren’t rushing here in droves.

So another government shutdown is looming around the corner. With political factions more divided than they’ve ever been, I don’t think it’s surprising to anyone. But this crazy inability to find any level of common ground has become ridiculous and petty. Throwing another wrench in the works is Donald Trump constantly distracting everyone, helping to keep people from making any kind of headway. Trump just can’t seem to let things not be about him for even a few days.

So Trump had his doctors appointment, and low and behold, he’s in “excellent health.” It’s one of those situations where I don’t even know what the point was. I don’t think there was ever going to be a way that there was going to be an official negative health report to come out about Donald Trump. It’s not going to change anyone’s mind, between those who think he’s forcing some poor staff doctor to bend the truth, and for his supporters who will use the information to validate their opinions. It’s just another show to be watched. Another annoying performance.

It’s tough to think of what to say at a certain point, when your expectations get just so low. Beyond the utterly racist sentiments of calling several African countries and Haiti “Shitholes”, I kind of love how Donald Trump thinks the standard of excellence in terms of immigration that we should be aspiring to is Norway. As if we’ve been just turning away all the “upper-class” Norway immigrants who have been itching to come here.

So, Trump basically sh*t the negotiating bed with the DACA negotiations. Trump asked for $18 billion dollars for his wall, Sen. Diane Feinstein came back asking for “clean DACA” bill, Trump didn’t know what that meant, and just agreed to it, like a true negotiator. Gotta love his tough stance on the issues.

Donald Trump is taking credit for the fact that there were no deaths as a result of plane accidents. That is a level of desperation for credit that is just crazy. He talks constantly about all his wins as POTUS, and he’s scraping the bottom of the barrel to find some claim that makes it seem like he’s accomplished something.

Trump sent out his own approval poll so he could see how he was doing. Though it’s important to note that the only people who are taking the poll are people who already support him and that there is no option to give him a bad rating on the poll. So, you know, totally fair. It then goes on to reference the Mainstream Media as the “Fake News Media” in a question about whether his approval rating is being reported fairly. The pettiness gave me chills.

So, over the weekend, Trump at this point pretty infamously tweeted about the weather, and his obvious confusion between that and climate change. The distinction is one a kid in the 3rd grade can make, but apparently Trump, in his Ivy League schools, wasn’t taught that.

President Obama was named the most admired man by Gallup for the year 2017. Trump is in rare company to be an incumbent President to not get that distinction. I can only imagine how that must rub the Donald the wrong way.
