Schumer offered him the wall. The President offered a number. Schumer agreed. And Trump walked away from the table. He walked away from two bipartisan deals, one which included EVERYTHING THAT TRUMP WANTED, and he still goes on to call the shutdown the Democrats fault, blaming Chuck Schumer specifically, a guy who was willing to compromise to an outrageous degree to get a deal made, and the President, master deal maker, can’t take a deal where he gets what he wants. Of sound mind and body, that’s what we were told mere days ago, right?

So, reports are coming out that Fox News was given a heads up about Trump’s tryst with a porn star as early as October of 2016. Fox News could have broken a story a story that could have turned the tide of the election, but let party politics get in the way. Say what you will about CNN or MSNBC, but given the chance to break a damaging story about Hillary Clinton, they’d have done it. And yet they have the gall to constantly criticize other news outlets of a dangerously liberal bias.

So another government shutdown is looming around the corner. With political factions more divided than they’ve ever been, I don’t think it’s surprising to anyone. But this crazy inability to find any level of common ground has become ridiculous and petty. Throwing another wrench in the works is Donald Trump constantly distracting everyone, helping to keep people from making any kind of headway. Trump just can’t seem to let things not be about him for even a few days.

So after the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump says he has a great relationship with Kim Jong Un. When Trump refuted the statements, Both the White House and the WSJ released audio from the interview…that just confirmed the WSJ interview. It’s bizarre how Trump expects vindication even though reality is against him.

So, Trump basically sh*t the negotiating bed with the DACA negotiations. Trump asked for $18 billion dollars for his wall, Sen. Diane Feinstein came back asking for “clean DACA” bill, Trump didn’t know what that meant, and just agreed to it, like a true negotiator. Gotta love his tough stance on the issues.

It’s weird to me that Dennis Rodman has obtained a weird level of cultural relevancy as a voice of someone who can claim to know both Trump and Kim Jong Un. That he can claim a level of insight that lots of people, powerful people, legit don’t have. It might be the biggest indicator that we are living in an alternate reality or perhaps the Matrix. I just think it’s weird that one could make an argument that the best mediator between a Trump and Kim meeting would be Dennis Rodman, and not be immediately laughed out of the room.

So, over the weekend, Trump at this point pretty infamously tweeted about the weather, and his obvious confusion between that and climate change. The distinction is one a kid in the 3rd grade can make, but apparently Trump, in his Ivy League schools, wasn’t taught that.

Mike Huckabee made some very broad and terribly debatable comparisons between Winston Churchill and Donald Trump. Winston Churchill was a soldier, a statesman, an orator and cared deeply about his country. Some might question whether being unpopular would be enough to make them comparable.
