The Real Meaning of the Memo

Everyone is talking about the memo by Devin Nunes. Prior to it’s release, it was touted as this bombshell that would paint federal law enforcement in a poor light. The FBI publically expressed their vehement objection to the release of this document that they claim was contextually incomplete and didn’t paint a fair picture of the events the memo details. This whole debacle, as public as it was, obviously had people curious, and everyone was pretty sure that the memo was forthcoming because frankly, anything that Trump might be able to claim would vindicate him was bound to be made public. So Friday, the proverbial bomb drops, and both the left and right sides of the media start shouting to all who can hear that this memo proves their side of the argument, or at least disproves other things. So what about your average Joe Everybody. What does this memo tell him? Apparently not much. Because if you ask your average person, either liberal or conservative, they’ll assure you the memo does somehow validate they’re opinion, but if you ask them what part does that, or if they’ve read the whole thing, you might be surprised to find that not many people even know where to find a fully copy of the damn thing.
