My friends often tell me that the reason I’m a bad cook is because I don’t practice.  I say that when I cook food, it turns out to be visually and edibly monstrous.  Maybe even evil.  Results like that kill my motivation to keep “practicing”.

What’s worse though is social media recipes, like “Tasty”, who make these wonderful looking videos where they prepare the most delicious looking food, in ways that look crazy easy.  And maybe they are easy, but it turns out that when you put food ingredients and measuring instruments in my hands, I lose about 90 IQ points.

Should this be embarrassing for a 31 year old man? Probably.  Does it embarrass me? Eh…less than it should.
